Ang's ancestral hall

Ang's ancestral hall is a family ancestral hall building built in the middle of Qing Dynasty, which belongs to the place where Ang's family worships ancestors and sages. In xishanyi Town, about 15 kilometers away from Feidong County, there is an ang ancestral hall, also known as "father son Jinshi Temple". Because in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, ANGJI village once went out of the family of father and son, namely, angshaoshan and angtianzeng.

Ang's ancestral hall

Ang Shaoshan: the character is long; he was born in ANGJI, Anhui Province. He was a famous minister in Qing Dynasty. In the sixth year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1667 A.D.), he was a Jinshi in the imperial examination, and was a senior official in the cabinet. His son, angtian, was a Jinshi in the 24th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1685 A.D.), and lived in the county magistrate of Dezhou plain in Shandong Province. On July 19, the 36th year of Kangxi, the emperor granted two letters to Ang's father and son, both of whom were wenlinlang; Liang Shushen, ang Shaoshan's wife, and Yan Zhongwen, ang tianzengyu's wife, were Ruren. At the same time, it is also called "father and son Jinshi Temple". Not only that, the emperor also presented four tablets: "father and son Jinshi", "Ang's ancestral hall", "connecting the past and the future", which were respectively hung on the gate of the ancestral hall and the lintel of the hall. Unfortunately, except for the "father and son Jinshi" plaque, the other three were destroyed in the cultural revolution.

In 2001, the people's Government of Feidong County listed the "Jinshi temple for father and son" as a cultural relic protection unit at the county level. In 2006, the people's Government of Anhui Province listed the "Jinshi temple for father and son" as a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
