Taohuajiang bamboo sea, located in the southeast of Taojiang County, is a bright emerald in Taojiang County, the "hometown of bamboo in China" (named and licensed by the Ministry of forestry of the people's Republic of China). It is a unique landscape of bamboo town and has been included in the "bamboo Tour" tourism line of Hunan Province and the whole country.

Taohuajiang bamboo sea is a bright emerald in Taojiang County, which is the "hometown of bamboo in China". It is a unique landscape with bamboo characteristics, and has been included in the "bamboo Tour" tourism line of Hunan Province and the whole country. It is only 1.5km away from Taohuajiang town. It is connected with meirenwo resort, another tourist attraction in Taojiang in the East, Taoyi first-class highway in the south, taohui highway in the West and Taoyi highway in the north, with a total area of 761.2 hectares.

With undulating hills and barren peaks, the general altitude is 100-250 meters. The highest altitude is 335.4 meters, and the lowest altitude is 37.0 meters. The 70 thousand mu bamboo forest is magnificent. It is a new rising pearl on the tourism line from Changsha to Zhangjiajie, attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists from home and abroad to visit here every year.

Taojiang people love bamboo, precious bamboo and enchanted bamboo. Since ancient times, scholars like to write poems with bamboo, so this pavilion was built. The bamboo reciting Pavilion is located on the hillside of Huoyanshan pass. It has a unique flavor of climbing high and looking far, watching bamboo and reciting poems. It is said that Zheng Banqiao, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, once came here to sing a poem happily: "when the Yamen lie down and listen to the bamboo flute, it is suspected that it is the voice of suffering among the people.
