The Central Kunlun wildlife park is located about 232 kilometers south of Qiemo Town, east-west direction. It is 250 kilometers long and 110 kilometers wide in Qiemo, with an average altitude of 5656 meters. Qiemo's major rivers all originate from this mountain range. The mountain terrain is extremely complex, and the vegetation has obvious vertical community structure, with Herba Artemisiae Scopariae, Achnatherum splendens, Gentiana and other grasses.

Due to the lack of visitors, it has become a paradise for wild animals: wild cattle, bears, antelopes, snow chickens, mountain eagles, wild donkeys, argali, red foxes, Tibetan wild camels, lynx, Yeerqiang red deer and more than 20 kinds of wild animals live here, which is a good place for ecological tourism.

MUZTAG snow mountain stands in the south corner of the east area of the Central Kunlun wildlife park and is the source of the Cheerchen river. Wuluksu River, a tributary of Cherchen River, runs through the area from south to north. The original plateau natural landscape and a variety of wild animals and plants constitute the unique biodiversity of Central Kunlun. It has high ecological value and scientific research value. The population density of Tibetan Ling sheep, Tibetan wild donkey and wild consumptive cattle is much higher than that of Altun mountain and Qiangtang nature reserve. In summer, it enters the park along the Chechen River Valley. You can see Rhodiola, diandimei, Xizang Huanghua and iris. It is an ideal place for wildlife sightseeing, scientific research, exploration, mountaineering and other activities.
