Huayuanshan tourist area is located in the southeast of Tuqiao Town, Yushu City, Jilin Province. It is located in the edge of Songliao plain. It is the remaining vein of Daheishan, the branch of Changbai Mountain. It is 10 kilometers long from east to west, 4 kilometers wide from north to south, and the highest altitude is 302 meters. It is the highest point in Yushu city. A long time ago, every spring and summer, the mountain is full of wild flowers, just like a big natural garden, which is named huayuanshan. There are 6000 hectares of natural forest and 1500 hectares of artificial forest in huayuanshan. Rich in animal and plant resources, there are more than 20 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials, more than 30 kinds of national protected animals, more than 10 kinds of wild vegetables and more than 10 kinds of fungi such as hazelnut mushroom and pine mushroom. There is a 35 meter high watchtower on the top of the mountain and a 15 hectare reservoir at the foot of the mountain. You can visit huayuanshan along the cement road around the mountain. Every spring and summer, Huayuan mountain's green original ecology and fresh air make you feel detached and relieved from returning to nature.
