Shaobo ancient town

Shaobo ancient town is one of the thousand famous historical and cultural towns in China, with a history of more than 1600 years.

In 2008, Shaobo was listed in the list of the fourth batch of Chinese historical and cultural towns. In 2014, Shao Bo Ming Qing canal ancient road, Shao Bo Wharf Group, Shao Bo ancient dike, Shao Bo old shiplock, Huaiyang canal main line (Shao Bo section) were listed in the world heritage protection list of China Grand Canal. Shao Bo ancient town is the ancient town with the most heritage sites along the grand canal.

Introduction

On the morning of August 30, 2018, Zhang Xiaoli, deputy director of Planning Department of Provincial Tourism Bureau, and his party, accompanied by Wang Minghong, deputy director of Yangzhou Tourism Bureau, Tan Xingwen, director of planning and development department, Zhou Hao, director of Jiangdu District Tourism Bureau, and Zhang Ling, mayor of Shaobo Town, investigated the creation of national 4A scenic spot in Shaobo ancient town.
