Taiping mountain scenic spot of Deshun Nanzhu forest farm is 55 kilometers away from Liping County, with an area of 4573 hectares. Dongfeng Forest Farm scenic spot is 16 kilometers away from Liping County, with an area of 902 hectares. The forest coverage rate reaches 94.5%, and the altitude is between 500-1256 meters.

Development and construction

Liping National Forest Park was approved by the State Forestry Administration in December 2003. In January 2004, Liping Dong Township scenic spot was listed as a national scenic spot by the State Council. The two major tourist resources complement each other with distinctive features. The scenic spots are highly complementary, integrating leisure and vacation, sightseeing and fitness, popular science exploration and other functions, forming a major tourist highlight in Southeast Guizhou.
