Xiangmuhe Nature Reserve

Xiangmu river is the last virgin habitat in Northern Henan. Xiangmuhe nature reserve is located in Nanzhai Town, Huixian County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, with a total area of 47 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Shanxi Province in the West and North, with the highest altitude of more than 1600 meters at ant mountain.

Fenghuang ancient village has a long history; stone dwellings are primitive and simple; ground subsidence remains and stone forest wonders; weichi lake is the highest altitude in Northern Henan; Pinus tabulaeformis and hawthorn are everywhere; Forsythia wild chrysanthemum is in full bloom. Four seasons of the year, with the day, several stars at night. Xiangmu river is the last virgin habitat in Northern Henan. There are dozens of wild animals and birds in xiangmuhe nature reserve, such as Taihang macaque, leopard, wild badger, wild boar, hare, pheasant, goshawk and so on. It is known as a natural zoo. There are more than 100 kinds of flowers, plants and trees, and nearly 1000 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine. It is also known as the plant kingdom.
