Development history

In 2005, in the first "ZHUGE culture Cup tourism star enterprise" selection activity, it was awarded "the most favorite scenic spot for tourists" by the Municipal Tourism Bureau;

Longtangou scenic spot is located in Huashan village, Shuanglong Town, Xixia County, in the hinterland of Funiu Mountains, Henan Province. It is 30 kilometers away from Xixia County, covering an area of about 5 square kilometers. National Highway 311 passes through here, so the traffic is very convenient.

It is one of the largest and most concentrated waterfalls in China. There are 11 waterfalls of different sizes in the scenic area, with abundant water throughout the year. The largest one is more than 100 meters, and the smallest one is more than 20 meters.

There are 19 cascade waterfalls formed between the canyons of the two mountains. There are 72 large and small pools, one waterfall and one pool. The scenery is spectacular. Qinglongtan, Heilongtan, Huanglongtan, Bailongtan, shuanglongtan, Jiulong Notre Dame There are deep pools and strange waterfalls, which are connected with each other. The waterfall with the highest drop is about 35 meters and the lowest is 15 meters. The largest pool covers an area of 800 square meters;

The depth of the pool varies from 2 meters to 50 meters, and there are countless small waterfalls and pools. The most famous "Si Lian waterfall" is connected with four waterfalls, meandering and snaking, flying straight down, with a magnificent appearance. On both sides of the ditch, the stone walls are steep, the trees grow, and the mountain streams pour down from the cliffs; the torrents are pouring, the spray is splashing, the water mist is flowing, the valley is filled, the waterfall is roaring, and falls into the Longtan, which is very spectacular. In summer and autumn, the valley is full of silver, blue flowers and brilliant clouds. In autumn and winter, the mountains are red, the forests are dyed, the water is out, the cold pool is clear, the dragon pool is blue to the end, the sky is bright, and the fish can be counted.

Main attractions

Longtangou is a valley type tourist destination. It is a waterfall group composed of 18 cascade waterfalls. The upstream river of the waterfall group is Xizhuanghe, which originates from laolongduo tongtianhao, Haoping village, ERLANGPING township. It flows into Shewei river through Haoping village, Xizhuanghe bridge and longtangou, Huashan village, Shuanglong Town, with a total length of more than 10 kilometers, and the drop drops from 1300 meters above sea level to 400 meters, especially from Xiahe of Xizhuanghe village to Huashan village The 3 km long valley of lulugou and longtangou in the mountain village has a larger drop, with a relative height difference of more than 500 meters, forming a "ladder" waterfall group.

According to the survey, there are 19 large "ladder" waterfalls, one waterfall and one pool, with the highest drop of about 35 meters and the lowest of 15 meters. The largest Longtan has a water surface of about 800 square meters, and the general pool has a water surface of about 400 square meters, with a water depth of 2-4 meters. There are countless small waterfalls and pools.
