Hengshan terrace is located in Hengshan village, Sanzhi Township, Taipei County. It is also the habitat of red frogs in Taipei. Because the terrain of the whole township is mostly hillside land, early farmers opened up many terraces in Hengshan village, Maochang village and Yuanshan village according to the terrain, and Hengshan village has the most magnificent terrace landscape. The original Hengshan terraces were mainly planted with crops, but now they are turning to tourism industry to provide tourists with special recreational landscape. There are a lot of Taibei red frogs on the opposite side of Hengshan national primary school. Because the human pollution is becoming more and more serious, frog lovers are actively taking part in conservation. Now they can observe the tracks of Taibei red frogs in Hengshan terraces.

Traffic information

From Danshui Denghui avenue to Sanzhi, via Sanzhi urban area, turn right to Zhongzheng road at Section 1 of DanJin Road, turn left to Zhicheng street at the intersection of section 1 and section 2 of Zhongzheng Road, and then follow the North 18 Longshan road.
