The construction of "Maohu water town · Xiangjun water village", an important cultural project of Xiangxiang City, covers an area of more than 1400 mu. It is a national 3A scenic spot, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, the first Changsha Zhuzhou Xiangtan ecological leisure tourism demonstration base in Hunan Province, one of the top ten farms in Hunan Province, a five-star leisure farm in Hunan Province, and a five-star rural tourism demonstration site.

At present, the construction of "Weijing" cruise ship and Xiangjun camp has been completed, and the construction of Xiangjun college, Xiangjun figure statue and Xiangjun food processing factory are under construction.

Future construction

Maohu water town will become "the third most characteristic water town in China" after Zhouzhuang and Wuzhen. It is a modern agricultural industrialization base integrating leisure, pension, planting and breeding. It covers an area of 1000 mu, including more than 30 mu of developed land and 700 mu of water area, with an investment of 16 million yuan. In addition, 50 mu planting base and 30 mu pension base are under financing construction.

Maohushui township is 8 kilometers away from Xiangxiang City. Construction Project

The first phase construction project of Maohu water town includes: a multi-functional building with three floors of more than 2000 square meters for catering and meeting affairs; a reception hall with sales department; five business villas; six small island villas; an underground singing hall with 200 square meters; a tofu and wine making workshop; a teahouse with 200 square meters; a leisure corridor with 600 square meters; and 700 Mu water area for breeding, fishing, fishing and drinking And cruise ships, boats and other water recreation projects development. In April 2007, it was completed and put into operation. It has the reception capacity of 100 people accommodation, 200 people meeting and 500 people dining.
