The Helin temple in Qionglai is located on Baihe mountain, 4 km west of Qionglai city. The temple was first built in the Sui Dynasty. It was renovated and expanded in the Southern Song Dynasty, and was renamed Helin temple.
Historical evolution
The temple was first built in the Sui Dynasty and flourished in the Tang and Song dynasties. In the first year of shaoding in the Southern Song Dynasty (1228), a large-scale renovation and expansion was carried out, and it was renamed Helin Chan yuan. After several times of construction in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the existing main hall was rebuilt by monks in 1462. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the existing temples have been renovated and become the places for Buddhist activities in Qionglai city.

The building is a single eaves Xieshan style roof, with 3 rooms wide and 13 meters long, of which the width of the care room is 7 meters, and the width of the two rooms is 3 meters. The depth is 10 meters and the height is 8 meters.
