It is located at the roadside of the tourist route from Altay to wuzhiquan, with an altitude of 890 meters. Durat rock painting is one of the typical representative rock paintings in Altay area.

The rock paintings are carved on the mountains on the sunny slope. The pictures are widely distributed, mainly in animal shapes, including sheep, dog, horse, bird and other animal patterns. There are nomadic hunting scenes. The engraving method is made by hammering with hard tools, and the figures are concave patterns. It provides a good clue for tourists and scientific researchers to pursue the nomadic culture in Altay.
