Introduction to scenic spots

In the 14th year of the Republic of China, Fu Xiqi, President of the Kinmen chamber of Commerce, raised funds from overseas Chinese to build this street with the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era. The architectural style is Japanese, Minnan, Western and Nanyang. Most of the buildings are two-way shops, the first is Japanese style western style buildings, and the second is Fujian style buildings. It is one of the old streets in Kinmen that have been maintained for a long time.

At the end of the street, the big banyan tree was originally a luxury mansion for Wen Yingju. During the fall of Kinmen in the Anti Japanese War, the Japanese army took it as a command post, which was bombed by the US Army. There are balconies and green glazed railings in No. 14, No. 16 and No. 18 of model street. Because of the mechanical factors, the Dougong gate of the house at the corner should be smaller, and a three story building should be built to resist the enemy.

Although it's only a short journey, it has a special store in Jinmen, including the "Jinmen kitchen knife" that housewives love most. "Love the Red Chamber" is a famous improved local restaurant. Its special dish "Mao Zedong milk tea" is milk tea with Jinmen sorghum wine, which is unique.
