Gulong River Scenic Area

Gulong River scenic area is located in the middle of the river. It starts from gulongwei in Xiangbei Township in the north and ends at Longzhou island in Xiajian County in the south. It is called Siwu River in ancient times. The whole journey is 10 km. There is Gulong cave at the back of gulongwei mountain, which is 7 meters wide and 5 meters high. There is a cluster of bell milk, which looks like an ancient banyan. There are several halls in the cave, and there is a hole through the sky. The whole cave is several kilometers long and the landscape is fantastic. Along the river, there are huangguanshan, yimazhu, ancient Buddha Chaoxi, longnvyan, yuanyangdong, liumeiyan and other scenic spots. Longnvyan is clear all year round. The spring water flows out slowly. The entrance is spacious, more than 15 meters high and 20 meters wide. In the severe winter season, the spring is heated, and there are often bursts of fog escaping. Local villagers often come here to take a bath.

It is said that in ancient times, there was a dragon girl dressed in white gauze here, and the story of the color drama "Dragon Girl and Han Peng" came from it. Down the river, you can drift more than 100 meters down jinboyue Liba beach and enter Yuanyang cave. There are natural waterfalls in the cave, and sometimes fish play. On the cliff near Liumei village, there is a Liumei rock. It is said that there are seven fairies in the Central Plains of the rock. One fairy is killed by a demon by mistake and is eaten by "tooth turns into milk" (it is said that she can eat the bear's milk of a child). Only six fairies are left, so she is called Liumei. After the tooth turned into milk, it was chopped to death by Lei Gongshen on the mountain south of liumeiyan, and its tail was cut off. It is still on the white wall of shuangtuo mountain, one kilometer north of liumeiyan. The mountain struck by thunder and lightning is divided into two parts from top to bottom, which is called "yixiantian". On the 1000 meter white wall, there is a Moyan stone carving of "Fancha Revisited" left by Chen Jingshi, a magistrate of Tianhe County in the Qing Dynasty.
