Shie Lake scenic spot is located in taoxitan Township, 7 km west of Wuyi County, covering an area of 10 square kilometers. It has undulating hills, complex lithology and developed faults, forming a special landform. The scenic area has a subtropical monsoon climate, mild and pleasant, with four distinct seasons. The scenic area with an altitude of lm-3m has lush trees, beautiful peaks and clear waters. It is famous for its unique rocks, beautiful lakes, famous temples and revolutionary history of the Red Army.

Interior landscape

The stone goose rock is composed of a huge rock and a big cave under the rock slope. From a distance, it looks like a stone goose flying in the air. The big cave is just like the goose's beak, so it is called stone Goose Rock. Stone goose hole is more than 100 meters high, and its bottom area is more than 25oo square meters. When it rains, the huge waterfall on the back of the cave pours down in the air, covering the whole entrance. The scene is reminiscent of the water curtain cave in Huaguo Mountain in journey to the West. The cave is a nunnery in Cihang cave with wood and stone structure. According to research, it was built in Tianyou year of Tang Dynasty. There is a small stone mortar in the cave. It is said that every day a mortar of white rice will be poured in, which is enough for nuns to eat and wear vines. Later, the old nun was too greedy and asked people to chisel the mortar bigger. As a result, the mortar will never come out again.

On the west side of shi'e rock, there is a stone beam more than 100 feet long, commonly known as Shenxian bridge. It is more than 30 meters high, more than 10 meters long and more than 10 meters wide, crossing the two mountains. The bridge deck is flat, people walk like walking on the ground, known as "the first beam of Wuyue". Under the bridge is the abyss. When the rain is abundant, the stream under the bridge is full of light and silver.

There is a jiaolongsi reservoir in shieyan mountain, with an area of 17.7 square meters and a total capacity of 2.35 million cubic meters, forming an artificial lake. The cold spring and waterfall in the valley of Renhu lake are charming. The surrounding pictographs are vivid. There are "Shishi mountain" in Hubei Province, and "Shixiang" in the south, which constitute the gate of Shixiang. There is a huge turtle mountain on the east side of the lake. Standing on the top of the turtle mountain, you can enjoy the spectacle of "turtle walking with fish" on your back. Along the lakeside path, you can also see more than ten vivid shapes of rocks, such as "Lion Dance", "golden dog guarding silver mountain".

The dozens of caves around shieyan not only have their own unique shapes and historical stories, but also are the places where the Red Army used to play. In 1928, the red army uprising led by the Communist party broke out in Wuyi County. Under the leadership of Li tingwen and Shao Shunchang, the Red Army of Beiying secretly gathered in Dayan rudder cave behind shieyan. Dayan rudder cave can accommodate thousands of people. It is located on the hillside and is covered by the forest and trees, so it is secret and safe. The cave is tens of meters long, and Shao Shunchang, commander of the Red Army on the North Road, once took refuge here. These caves, which the local people call Red Army caves, are now designated as patriotic education bases in the county.

Shieyan scenic spots are concentrated, connected into a line, the traffic is convenient, and the county road directly leads to the scenic spot.
