Fengguan Island

Fengguan island is located in Longqing Gorge Scenic Spot, Gucheng village, Jiuxian Town, Yanqing County, Beijing. It is surrounded by water on three sides and mountain on one side. It is called Fengguan island because it looks like a falling Fengguan hat.

This small mountain peak is displayed in front of us in the form of a peninsula. On the whole, it looks like a falling Fengguan hat, rippling with the waves, so it is called Fengguan island. Because it is backed by mountains, the composition is very free and easy, so it has become a landmark landscape of Longqing gorge. The water surface around Fengguan island is about 50 meters wide and 35 meters deep. The wharf is the deepest part of the reservoir, and the water depth is about 60 meters. If the boat goes upstream, the shallower the water will be.
