Ebony Art Museum

Ebony art museum is located in Dujiangyan, a world-famous double cultural heritage city with beautiful scenery, covering an area of more than 70 mu, Founded in December 2000 by Taiwan artist Lu Hongjie, it is the world's first public welfare large-scale private museum with the theme of studying ebony culture, excavating and protecting ebony, creating and collecting ebony artworks. It is also an important education base for world environmental protection culture.

Development history

Chengdu ebony art museum is located in Dujiangyan, a world-famous dual cultural heritage city with beautiful scenery, covering an area of more than 70 mu, Founded by artist Lu Hongjie in December 2000 and officially opened to the public free of charge in August 2011, it is the world's first large-scale private museum with public welfare theme to study ebony culture, excavate and protect ebony, and create and collect ebony works of art. It is also an important world environmental protection culture and education base. The main exhibition hall of the museum is a two-story compound frame structure, covering an area of more than 2800 square meters, with an atmospheric and stable appearance. In the middle is the gate of the exhibition hall with the style of Chinese ancient architecture archway, which is inscribed with nine characters "Chengdu ebony Art Museum" written by Qiao Shi, former director of the National People's Congress. The museum has a collection of more than 1000 ebony works, including 3 special works and 35 first-class works. The collection in the museum includes masterpieces of nature and masterpieces of artists, showing "the spirit of heaven, the treasure of earth and the meaning of man". In more than 20 years, the museum has built a kingdom of ebony with the largest display scale and collection value in the world. The first phase of the museum has been completed and opened to the public, including Bashu cultural square and fan-shaped main exhibition hall.

Collection

The museum has a collection of more than 1000 pieces of ebony works, including 3 special works, 35 first-class works and 356 second-class works. Among them, there are masterpieces of nature and masterpieces of artists, which show the "three wonders" of heaven, earth and human. In more than ten years, the museum has built a kingdom of ebony with the largest display scale and collection value in the world.

"Ten thousand roots of one mind · Sun God" is the treasure of Chengdu ebony Art Museum. It was unearthed in Chengdu Plain in 1996, with a diameter of 7 meters and a weight of 8 tons. According to C14 isotope measurement, the buried age is 7369 (± 100) years. It is a complete ancient tree root.

The sun god wangenpan Festival, a magnificent natural form, symbolizes the majesty of the sun shining on the earth. It is a national treasure and the root of the Chinese nation. It is the symbol of national cohesion, national unity and national unity. It is regarded as the holy product of the time art by people at home and abroad.

Ebony culture takes nature as the carrier, advocates the harmony of heaven, earth and human, and a multi-cultural system with "the sun god of ten thousand roots" as the core. It is human's good wish to show the artistic image of the sun god in the history of ancient Shu civilization and Chinese civilization, and to demonstrate "the pursuit of light".
