Tanghe hot spring

Tanghe hot spring is located in Tanghe Township, Lushi County, Sanmenxia County, Henan Province, which is the hometown of naked bath. It is also known as "Tangchi". It is formed naturally, backed by the side of Tangchi, with steep mountains on both sides. It is a high mountain canyon landform. The mountains are covered by Holly pines and cypresses. It is green all the year round. The irrigation water rushes past the resort, forming a peninsula terrain surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on one side

Tanghe hot spring as a whole is divided into two parts, one is the reconstructed folk bare bath area in the original site, which is specially for the local people to bathe in the hot spring free of charge; the other is the hot spring resort.

Natural climate

Tanghe hot spring resort is located in the Great Rift Valley of Xionger mountain at an altitude of 750 meters. It is located in the Yangtze River Basin and has a warm temperate climate. Due to the high mountains and deep valleys, the average sunshine time is short, the annual average temperature is 12 ℃, and the annual rainfall is 750-800 mm

Tanghe hot spring has been recorded in the annals of Lushi County in the ninth year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 130 years and is also known as the "hundred year old spring"
