Wang Hong (1413-1488), the Duke of Zhuang Yi, was named Gongdu. He was named Xiuan and Bianan. His ancestral home was Jiangxia, Hubei Province. His grandfather Wang Junqing was stationed in the border area and settled in Hezhou with his family members. He was the Minister of the Ministry of war during the reign of emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, he was known as "the great man of the world, the important Minister of the country" and "the great man of all ages, the mirror of all ages". Later generations often called it "Wang Shangshu". He was honest, upright, patriotic and devoted to reform. Because of his lack of talent, he was allowed to resign from his hometown five times.
Life of the characters
After returning to Hezhou, the imperial court repeatedly asked him to become an official, but they were all politely refused. After 23 years of living in Hezhou, he managed a farm, taught his son to read books, and wrote poems. Wang Shangshu once wrote the records of benefaction and disaster relief, which are no longer handed down today.
In the first year of Hongzhi, 1488 A.D., on the third day of the twelfth lunar month, Wang Shangshu died of illness and was buried in the Northeast suburb of Linxia city. The imperial court made a memorial statue for Shaobao, the crown prince, with the posthumous title of "Zhuangyi". To the liberation of fashion, the remains of "Shangshu tomb" and "Cultural Revolution" were destroyed. Now it has been rebuilt and is composed of hemispherical tomb, Shi wengzhong, Shi Ma, Shi Hu, Shi Yang and Wang Zhu.
