Wumosquito village is located in Xujia village of xianshuiyan scenic spot on the East Bank of Luxi River in Longhushan, Jiangxi Province. There are more than 200 people from 50 families. It is said that wumosquito village is the descendant of Xu Zhenjun. It has always depended on fishing and farming for a living. Most people in the village live a long life, so it is also called longevity village. The village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful peaks, verdant trees, rippling green waves and boats in front of the village. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, and has a mild climate. However, there is a strange phenomenon in the village, that is, there are no mosquitoes, so it is called "no mosquito village", which is an ideal summer resort.

The "mosquito free village" in Yingtan Longhushan, with its winding mountains, winding streams and green bamboo slopes, has become a summer resort for tourists in Chengdu and a base of environmental education in Shanghai. Mountains, valleys, streams, waterfalls and ancient trees are all in their original state. It is said that Tianshi Zhang was filial to her mother. Every summer, in order to protect her mother from mosquito bites, he kept expelling mosquitoes for her. So far, there are no mosquitoes in this village.

No mosquito cause

Why is there no mosquito in the village? The village has a special geographical location, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing water on one side. Because of its small area, it is unable to grow rice fields, so there is no pond that mosquitoes like. In addition, the village is not free of mosquitoes, but the number of mosquitoes is very small.

Scenic spot highlights

The folk custom museum in the village is a typical ancient residential building in the south, which is the folk custom exhibition hall of Xujia village. In the front and back of the house, the hall displays the villagers' simple production and living equipment, showing the people's quiet life scene.
