Lianghui reservoir

Lianghui reservoir is located in Lizhou street, Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province, 6km away from Yuyao City. Since May 1, 2001 and July 1, 2001, the water supply to Yuyao and Cixi has been started respectively. By May 2007, the total water supply has reached 230 million cubic meters, including 140 million cubic meters in Yuyao and 90 million cubic meters in Cixi.

The corresponding elevation is 50.60m (Yellow Sea elevation), and Xingli reservoir has a capacity of 24.6 million cubic meters. It is a medium-sized reservoir mainly for flood control and water supply, combined with comprehensive utilization of power generation, aquatic products and tourism. The reservoir project hub is composed of dam, spillway, spillway tunnel, water conveyance tunnel, etc.

The project started on September 28, 1993, impounded on April 16, 1997 and passed the completion acceptance on June 11, 1999.

In 1998, Lianghui Reservoir Management Bureau was established in four departments including office, engineering, power station and water administration, with 31 staff members, including 12 with professional and technical titles. In 2004, it was rated as Yuyao municipal civilized unit and passed the acceptance of Ningbo standardized reservoir in January 2007.

In October 2003, the tunnel diversion project of Lianghui reservoir was completed and put into operation. Through the joint operation of Lianghui reservoir and Lubu reservoir, and through the optimization of the operation scheme of Lianghui reservoir, the water level of the reservoir in non flood season and Mei flood season was determined to be 45.00 m, with the corresponding storage capacity of 24.76 million cubic meters; the water level in Taiwan flood season was 41.50 m, with the corresponding storage capacity of 19.3 million cubic meters; the water supply capacity of Lianghui reservoir with 90% guarantee rate was increased from the original The water supply to Yuyao is 25 million cubic meters per year and to Cixi is 20 million cubic meters per year.

It passed the first safety appraisal in 2004. The reservoir basin covers an area of 35.06 square kilometers. The main stream lianghuidaxi belongs to Yaojiang River System in Yongjiang River Basin, flowing into Yaojiang River from south to north, with a main stream length of 11.11 km. The reservoir is designed according to 50 year return period flood and checked according to 2000 year return period flood. The design flood level is 46.90m, and the corresponding storage capacity is 27.99 million cubic meters; the check flood level is 48.86m, and the corresponding storage capacity is 31.52 million cubic meters. The average annual water supply capacity for many years is 20.78 million cubic meters.
