Siraya national scenic spot is the 13th "provincial" scenic spot in Taiwan Province, which was established on November 26, 2005. It is a typical reservoir scenic area.

The whole scenic area of xilaya province spans Tainan City and Jiayi County, starts from Baihe district and Dapu township of Jiayi County in the north, ends at the south boundary of Xinhua District and the southwest boundary of Zuozhen District in the south, ends at Nanhua district and line 20 in the East, ends at the west boundary of Formosa Expressway and Wushantou scenic area in the west, with a land area of 88070 hectares and a water area of 3300 hectares The total area is about 91450 hectares. Xilaya scenic spot is located in the upper reaches of Zengwen River Basin, Yanshui River Basin and Jishui River Basin. From the Paleolithic era to the historical era, it was the activity area of prehistoric human and xilaya aborigines. Many Pingpu and xilaya people migrated here and retained many traditional festivals and ceremonies. In addition, the scenic area has abundant natural and cultural landscape resources, such as agricultural products, topography and geology, human fossils, hot springs and reservoirs. In addition to five reservoirs, such as Tsengwen Reservoir, Wushantou reservoir and Baihe reservoir, which are the largest in Taiwan, and hutouyu reservoir in Jianshan, which is the oldest in Taiwan, we are also familiar with caoshanyue world and zuozhenhua reservoir with unique limestone terrain Stone relics, Pingpu cultural festival activities, guanziling hot spring area, Jiangjia ancient house, Baoguang holy hall and rich agricultural products resources. The area has planned the road system of nanergao, taisanxian and tai20xian, with convenient transportation.
