Longdeng grassland

Longdeng grassland is located in Longdeng Township, Daofu County, Ganzi Prefecture. It is distributed on both sides of Sichuan Tibet highway. At that time, King Gesar once set up camp in the Longdeng grassland, so this grassland is called "Gesar Tong" in Tibetan, which means "the grassland that King Gesar fought".

At that time, the famous King Gesar once set up camp here and was called "Gesar Tong" by the local people. On the grassland near zhumucuo (feicui sea), there is a 53 × 53 meter planned land. It is said that King Gesar built the largest tent in the whole Tibetan area on the platform and took his concubine Zhumu and his parents to live. Whenever the sun rises in the East, King Gesar orders generals on the platform, so it is also called Dianjiang platform.

Scenic spots

At the foot of the small slope beside the Dianjiang platform is zhumucuo, the place where Zhumu washed his hair. Zhumucuo is not big (about 0.6km2), the water is clear, and it is often inhabited by water birds such as swans and spotted ducks. The center of rangu village next to zhumucuo still has stone tea vessels used by King Gesar's subordinates. There is a piece of Haizi called zhumucuo (meaning "jade sea") on the Longdeng grassland. It is said that it is the emerald headdress left by Zhumu, the princess of King Gesar. Many water birds can often be seen here. On the grassland nearby, there is a regular platform 53 meters in length and width, and nearly 1 meter in height. It is said that it was the commanding platform of King Gesar at that time. There are also "xiamashi" and other relics related to King Gesar in the nearby villages.

There is a red religion temple rangu Temple beside zhumucuo lake. There are 108 joyful Buddhas in the form of men and women embracing each other in the temple, with the largest scale in the world. It is said that the color of the Longdeng grassland changes 12 times a year. There are also the zamar River and a large area of redwood forest around it, which makes the scenery charming.
