Xiaguang Bridge

Xiaguang bridge, located in Huayang village, Hengkeng Township, is a stone arch wooden gallery bridge. It was first built in the first year of Yongzheng (1723) of the Qing Dynasty. It was built in both Xianfeng and Tongzhi years. The bridge is 172.6 meters long, 44.2 meters wide and 132 meters across Jing.

history

Xiaguang bridge was built in Yongzheng and Xianfeng years of Qing Dynasty. But in the end, they all "don't quit fire". When the bridge was destroyed, there was no way to get to it. The local clan leader called together all the people to discuss, "the negotiator is not good for wood, thinking easy to use stone, charging twice." Stone arch bridge. Although the cost will increase a lot, but "the wood is not as safe as the stone for a long time.". Because Xiayou bridge used to be built of wood, it was destroyed by fire many times. For the sake of durability, several leaders ran around to make ends meet, and finally "built with stone, but still house", transformed the Xiaguang bridge into a stone arched wooden corridor bridge.
