Qiaoyuan is located in Wanxin village community, Hedong District, Tianjin city. Its back is adjacent to Wei national road. It used to be a shooting range for military training, but later it was transformed into a park.

Introduction to scenic spots

As the first constructed wetland ecological park in Tianjin, it is open to the public free of charge. Tourists can fully feel the tranquility and freshness of nature here. At the same time, it also provides a good place for people who have lived in the downtown for a long time to experience the wild mountains and enjoy the natural scenery.

"Bridge" means communication and connection, and Qiaoyuan park means "rebuilding the connection between man and land, city and nature". The project is regarded as one of the key projects of urban environmental transformation in Tianjin. The park is characterized as an open and comprehensive urban public green space that reflects local culture, meets the recreational needs of citizens, and integrates history and culture. Qiaoyuan Park starts from Weiguo road in the north, Panshan road in the south, Tianshan Road in the East and Kunlun road in the West. It covers an area of 220000 square meters and has a fan-shaped layout.

The reason why Qiaoyuan park is named "bridge" is that the background of the park is a large overpass - Weiguo Road overpass, and there is a 955m steel structure corridor bridge and a knowledge exhibition hall of popular science bridge in the park. As an ecological wetland park, there is a large area of water in the park, retaining a large area of wetland ecological landscape, planting 14 kinds of aquatic plants, including reed, calamus, lotus and other native plants; there are tens of thousands of ground cover plants and wild flowers, and there are also ornamental grasses such as Pennisetum and thatch planted in Tianjin for the first time. There are 43 kinds of trees and shrubs, and nearly 40000 trees are planted in the garden.
