Liziba Park, also known as Liziba Anti Japanese war ruins park, is located next to Liziba light rail station, backed by eling and facing Jialing River in the north, with a total length of 1.8 km and an area of 120000 square meters. It is the first Anti Japanese war ruins park in Chongqing.

Construction

The demolition of the area was started in May 2008, completed in May 2009, started on June 16, 2009 and completed in June 2010.

Liziba Anti Japanese war ruins park is a high-quality green space park built in Yuzhong District, and also a "zero plot ratio" green environment renovation project. Liziba Anti Japanese war ruins park, as a renovation project of dilapidated houses, has a total building area of 57494 square meters. More than 60% of the houses belong to class C and D dilapidated houses, 74% of the families are below the minimum living security level, 85% of the families belong to low-income families, and the average living area is only 28 square meters. After the demolition started, a total investment of 460 million yuan was invested in the demolition construction, so that more than 650 households and more than 2000 residents in the project bid farewell to the dilapidated houses and live in new homes.

After completion, Liziba Anti Japanese war ruins park is close to the riverside, with green space rate of about 60%, plant planting area of about 70000 m2, and large-scale trees and shrubs such as Ginkgo biloba, Cinnamomum camphora, Huangjue tree, etc. The park is backed by the towering futu pass and facing the blue wave of Jialing River. Walking in the park, every detail shows its ingenuity. Carved wooden guardrails, orderly brick and stone floors, and signs with unified style When you come to the park, you can always see people playing Taijiquan in groups, or walking in twos and threes in the park, or walking down the steps to the Jialing River to enjoy the outstanding waterfront landscape.

Liziba Anti Japanese War site park is connected with Zengjiayan and Hongyan village. It is the "one heart" of Zengjiayan Hongyan Anti Japanese War cultural site corridor. It is the first Anti Japanese War site park in Chongqing and the first park in China to display historical and cultural protection achievements in the form of theme park.
