The Red Army Long March over jiajinshan memorial hall is located on the Bank of Qingyi River on the west side of Baoxing County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of about 4500 square meters. It is to recall the epic Long March of the Red Army, carry forward the spirit of the long march of the red army, and inherit the fine traditions of the ancestors. It is built to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Red Army Long March over jiajinshan, which is the 100th birthday of Comrade Chen Yun. It was built in 2005 by the Red Army square The exhibition hall is composed of a theme sculpture and two exhibition halls.

In March 2017, it was named the national patriotic education demonstration base by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Jiajin mountain, located in Baoxing County, is the first snow mountain that the Red Army crossed during the long march. The red army conquered Baoxing and surmounted the golden perils, leaving behind the battle stories of startling the world and weeping ghosts and gods, which wrote a rich chapter in the magnificent history of the long march of the Red Army.

In order to carry forward the Red Army spirit, Baoxing county built the Red Army Long March over jiajinshan Memorial Hall in 2005.

The memorial is located on the Bank of Qingyi River in the county, covering an area of about 5000 square meters. The whole memorial hall is composed of Red Army square, theme sculpture and Red Army Long March over jiajinshan comic strip fence. The building area of the memorial hall is 1350 square meters. Many precious Red Army manuscripts and cultural relics are displayed in the exhibition hall. The Red Army square covers an area of 3500 square meters, mainly for landscaping and leisure square. The theme sculpture is 6 meters long and 2.5 meters wide; the comic strip fence has 112 relief stone slabs, which are elaborately designed and produced by Wu Chengjin, a professor of the Art College of Sichuan University. It is very spectacular, allowing people to cherish the memory of the revolutionary martyrs and enhance their patriotic consciousness while relaxing in the square.
