Longtan National Forest Park is a 4A scenic spot approved by the Ministry of forestry on May 8, 1993, and approved by Guangxi forestry department. It is constructed and implemented by the state-owned Jintian forest farm of Guiping city. With its beautiful natural landscape, rare plants and rare animals, it is known as "treasure house of relict plants" and "little Xishuangbanna", and has become a dazzling green pearl on the Tropic of cancer. In addition, there are two Longtan forest parks, which are located in Tianmu and Yokogawa offices.

It is located in Jintian forest farm of Guiping City, 24 kilometers away from Guiping City, adjacent to Xishan Scenic Spot and taipingtian

The former site of guojintian uprising, with the Tropic of cancer across the south of the park, covers an area of 7800 hectares. It is the only south subtropical monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forest region in Southeast Guangxi with relatively complete preservation.

In Longtan Forest Park, the mountains are continuous, the peaks are overlapping, the thousands of peaks are like screens, the ground is chopping with skyscrapers, there are many strange rocks, and the magic is magnificent. The continuous mountains are like green dragons flying up and down. The vein of the mountain is primary and secondary, and the level is rich. Overlooking the mountains in front of the cluster, high and low, stretching out. The highest peak, Daping peak, is 1158 meters above sea level and 780 meters above sea level. Surrounded by mountains, it presents a majestic momentum.

Beautiful scenery

The peak is next to the deep valley, and the secluded pool is next to the Tianzhu. There are many canyons, narrow canyons among the peaks, winding around. As tourists walk through the canyon, they sometimes walk through the steep and thorny hillsides, sometimes set foot in the streams, and sometimes sneak in the sharp rocks. The sound of waves and streams mingles and reverberates in the humid air. The air is filled with the fragrance of moss for many years, the fragrance of soil, a primitive, natural atmosphere, rich wild taste. In this place far away from the hustle and bustle of the mountains, breathing fresh air, watching the shade, listening to the birds and cicadas, the whole body and mind seems to be washed clean by nature, melting for it, and entering the realm of selflessness.

In spring, the flowers are gorgeous, the grass is fragrant, the branches give birth to fragrant green leaves, the mountains are green, the bees fly and the butterflies dance, and the colorful flowers are dotted among them, sending out the fragrance of flowers. Walking in Longtan, I always feel the strong breath of spring. In midsummer, with thick shade and branches, thousands of trees are flourishing. Here is also a green ocean: new green, emerald green, dark green, dark green, dark green blend together, showing the exuberant vitality. Inspiring, inspiring and hopeful. In the golden autumn, Longtan is covered with rich colors. The red leaves of ebony and maple are immersed in green, and red and green alternate, forming a magnificent and huge oil painting.

Waterfall wonder

Longtan Forest Park has many ravines, streams and waterfalls. The stream flowing out of the deep mountain, winding through the forest and rocks, up and down, constitutes a cascade of rapids and cascades. Waterfall is one of the wonders of the park, with vivid and dynamic beauty. Some of the waterfalls here are as high as 100 meters, hanging on the high emerald rocks, like huge crystal curtains flying down in the air; some of the waterfalls soar and roar in the valley, and after several jumps, the sound is like thunder. The countless water drops splashed by the stone spring turn into misty water mist. Under the sunshine, they often change into seven color rainbows, like colorful bridges, and the whole valley seems to be shrouded in a golden veil. Pools are everywhere

Many streams form pools large and small. The big ones are more than 500 square meters, and the small ones are 10 square meters. The pool is clear and green, with many kinds of fish. Some pools are covered with green trees and green cages, leaning forward one after another to the surface of the water like big green umbrellas, forming a natural indoor swimming pool. Some pools have wide water surface, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, distant mountains and near trees, rendering a very beautiful water painting.

Features of scenic spots

Longtan Forest Park is located in Longtan Village group of Xiahe village, 16 kilometers northwest of Henghe office. It is an old revolutionary base area, connected by maheng highway and adjacent to Longmen Nankun mountain, with 12000 mu of virgin forest. There are many ancient trees and waterfalls in the forest (there are more than 20 waterfalls, the largest one is more than 70 meters high and more than 30 meters wide, magnificent; the smallest one is more than 10 meters high and a few meters wide, each with its own characteristics). The water source is clear and abundant, which can be drunk directly. Entering Longtan Village, there are thousands of acres of orange garden, a stream several crossing, twists and turns around, which has the natural ecological characteristics of the rural Taoyuan.
