Shengqinlangzha mountain is one of the 25 sacred Buddhist mountains in Kangkang district. It is located in Gangtuo township of Jiangda County in the east of Tibet Autonomous Region and the northeast of Changdu region. It is about 100 km away from the county seat, 90 km of which is accessible by car. According to the traditional saying, shengqinlangzha mountain is the place where the famous religious master lianhuasheng and the eminent monks Deqing qiujiliba and gamabaxi of Ningma and Kagyu sects practiced and worshiped, so the believers highly respected it. The scale of the mountain is large. It takes about a day to ride around.

Among them, the grotesque stones seem to be natural Buddha statues. Many eminent monks of Ningma sect and Kagyu sect in Kang district once practiced in this holy mountain, so the devout believers highly praised shengqinlangzha mountain, and paid homage to it as a lifelong blessing.

Interior landscape

There are about dozens of scenic spots in shengqinlangzha mountain. Among them, the more distinctive scenic spots are: monkey takes off his hat, Buddha sitting on the top of the mountain, stone statue of master lianhuasheng, giant dragon flying into the sky, cave of lianhuasheng subduing demons, cave of lianhuasheng practicing for six months, cave of Karmapa practicing, renzeng crystal cave, shengqinlangzha temple, etc. Among the many practice caves, lianhuasheng is the most famous. The cave is very long, with grotesque stone pillars, stone buds and natural Buddha statues. Many eminent monks of Ningma sect and Kagyu sect in Kang District, such as Deqing qiujilinba, gamabaxi, Gongzhu yuandanjiangcuo, have worshipped and practiced on this holy mountain. Therefore, among the religious people, shengqinlangzha mountain was highly promoted and worshipped as a blessing of life.

On the 15th of June of the Tibetan calendar, people from far and near put on festive costumes, bring delicious food and wine, and help their families to go out to worship the holy mountain. They either worship along the holy mark and handprint on the zhuanjing Road, or kowtow to the exquisite stone Buddha statues and spread butter; whether they are sacrificial activities to pray for a bumper harvest and prosperity of human and animal, or dancing to express joy; whether they are collecting the leaves of plants for incense burning, or inserting Sutra flags, or offering cattle and sheep heads and six character mantra, they all vividly reflect the Tibetan people's desire for style It is a good wish for the prosperity of human and livestock.
