Zhongxiang Shaoxing hot spring city is located in the hilly area of Kuaiji mountain in the northwest of Chongren Town, Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which is the reservoir area above the dam of Xiaban reservoir and boiling water reservoir, and the mountains on both sides, Minsheng reservoir and Wulongtan gorge area, with a total area of about 28 square kilometers. This is the Shimen mountain where Xie Lingyun, a landscape poet, took a rest.

Introduction to hot spring

Hot spring: the records of boiling water hot spring in Chongren can be seen in the Shimen mountain in the first county annals of Shengzhou: "in the west of the county, there is a Longtan in the mountain, and boiling water in the streams and caves below. On Tuesday, it boils three feet like soup, rolling four hours." In the boiling water reservoir, the mountain is like a screen, and the water is like a mirror. The hot spring is a volcanic hot spring at the bottom of the lake. There are two hot spring outlets. The water temperature is maintained at 32-35 ℃ all the year round. The water quality is pure, odorless and tasteless. It is weakly alkaline, rich in free carbon dioxide, strontium, lithium, fluorine and other trace elements. It has medical, security, beauty and other effects. It is the core of the product construction of the hot spring city.

Volcanic remains and volcanic rocks: volcanic rocks can be seen everywhere. According to the county records, there are 1-6 volcanic eruption cycles in this area. The lithology is mainly purplish red thick conglomerate and basalt, which is a good place for geological exploration and leisure tourism.

Five Longtan: it consists of a multi-stage drop waterfall and five small pools (five Longtan), which is the essence of five hundred posts. The waterfall is located in the northwest of the canyon, with a drop of about 60 meters, a width of more than 3 meters and a narrow of 0.4 meters. It winds down like a zigzag silver steep belt and flows into Wulongtan. Wulongtan is different in size and shape. The water quality is clear and there are strange rocks around it. The largest one is about 15 square meters in area and 3 meters in depth. The valley is well vegetated, with a large area of dense pine and bamboo forests. It has the artistic conception of "bright moon shining among pine trees, clear spring stone flowing up".

The planning of the hot spring city takes the volcanic hot spring at the bottom of the lake as the core, which integrates hot spring exploration, hot spring baths, fitness, physical examination and recuperation, and self-cultivation. It is a functional area for the public tourists, with the coexistence of classic and fashion, health preservation and health care, and the integration of delicacy and wild interest. Relevant qualifications

Zhongxiang Shaoxing hot spring city belongs to Suzhou Zhongxiang group. It is a large-scale tourist resort with hot spring as the theme approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government (ZJH < 201088 document). The core scenic area is 5.9 square kilometers, with a phase I investment of 500 million yuan and a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan. The resort is also a key project of Zhejiang Tourism Development Planning in the near and medium term, a key contact project of Zhejiang Tourism Administration and a key construction project of Shaoxing City. The resort is home to the best free carbon dioxide hot spring in China. Its hot spring water contains more than 50 minerals and a variety of essential trace elements. It has obvious curative effect on the treatment of joint diseases, metabolic diseases and respiratory diseases, which is rare in China.

In September 2006, Shengzhou municipal government approved the master plan of Zhejiang Wenquan Lake International Resort, which has been included in the key projects of the province's tourism development plan in the near and medium term and Shaoxing City's key construction projects.

On April 2, 2009, the construction of the core scenic spot of the tourist resort was officially started.

On August 6, 2009, the tourist resort won the title of "2009 top ten hot spring health care bases in China".

In June 2010, the people's Government of Zhejiang Province officially issued zhezhenghan No. 201088 document, agreeing to establish Shengzhou hot spring resort in Zhejiang Province.

In April 2010, Shengzhou development and Reform Bureau issued document (2010) No. 128, which approved the approval of the first phase project of Wenquan Lake tourism project, and approved the preliminary design of the first phase project, with a total construction area of 52758 square meters, including 14077 square meters of hot spring reception center and 14169 square meters of other centers.

In 2011, advertising tourists voted through its youth times, Sina Zhejiang and other media, and Zhongxiang Shaoxing hot spring city won the top ten most popular hot springs in East China in 2011.
