Li Guangqian general temple
brief introduction
Li Guangqian's general temple is located in xiputou. It is dedicated to Li Guangqian, who died for his country in the battle of Gu ningtou. After the end of the campaign, the remains of commander Zhong were buried in Taiwu Mountain Cemetery. The local people mourned for the bravery of defending the country. They set up a temple statue at the place where they died. They regarded it as the local patron saint and pursued the general themselves. They built a temple statue in 1951. Every year on the 9th day of the ninth lunar month, the local people celebrate.
Li Guangqian, a native of Pingjiang, Hunan Province, graduated from the 16th Central Military Academy. He made many contributions during the Anti Japanese War and was stationed in Kinmen in 1949.
Traffic information
You can go to Jincheng station, take No.10 bus to Huning or No.11 bus to dingning, and get off at Li guangqianmiao station. The bus interval is about one hour.
