The west coast, also known as the West Sea plank road. It is located in the west of Sanqing, Jiangxi Province, a world natural heritage and 5A scenic spot in China.

Overview of scenic spots

On the high mountain cliffs at an altitude of about 1600 meters, a reinforced concrete trestle road with a total length of about 3700 meters and a width of 1.3 meters to 2 meters is overhanging. Because there are 2700 meters without steps, it is like a jade belt, flat as the shore, so it is called the west coast. It was built by the Management Committee of Sanqingshan scenic area in June 2002.

Introduction

The West Coast scenic spot is the most breathtaking scenic spot in Sanqing mountain, with an average altitude of 1600 meters. According to geological investigation, Sanqing mountain was submerged by sea water three times. Some people say that the west coast is the coastline of that year. The West Coast starts from the intersection 130 meters above the west side of RISHANG villa in tiyunling in the south, and reaches the southwest side of Sanqing Fudi Hanxing pool in Sanqing palace scenic area in the north. The tour line is nearly 4 kilometers long. It is the longest suspended trestle Road, the smoothest road surface and the widest view of Lingkong cloud Pavilion in Sanqing mountain and even in the world. The viewing corridor is the Golden Coast and Shuxin Pavilion connecting the South and North mountains of Sanqing mountain.

When you are in the West Sea corridor, you are surprised, strange, dangerous, illusory, secluded and grand, which makes you feel sad and sigh; the vast sea of clouds, mountains, rocks, forests and flowers makes you ecstatic and feast your eyes; the glow, colorful, mirage, rare birds and exotic animals are full of magic. Along the way, there are cliffs and cliffs, steep peaks and rocks, stretching for thousands of kilometers, winding for miles; strange rocks and rocks, in a variety of ways, welcome; ancient pines, cedars, redwoods and azaleas, all over the eyes; flying clouds, flowing fog, fairy wind and Holy Spirit, wrapped around the body, caressing the face, giving people a wonderful feeling of "wandering in the West Sea, happy like an immortal".

Visit the west coast, stroll on the cliffs, and enjoy the magnificent sea of clouds, magnificent sunset, continuous peaks and deep valleys. There are four wonders on the West Coast: high-altitude plank road, distant mountains and sea of clouds, deep canyon, ancient trees and famous trees. Walking on the high-altitude plank road with an altitude of 1660 meters, the boundless cliffs in the East, the deep and unpredictable Canyon in the west, and the continuous mountains and fog sea in the distance are unforgettable. The sea of clouds on the west coast is particularly spectacular. In addition to the ordinary sea of clouds, there are roaring "loud clouds" and turbulent "waterfall clouds". When you stand on the plank road overlooking the Grand Canyon, the feeling of trembling is also a rare experience. Although the overall tour line of the West Coast scenic area is relatively long, the flat plank road in the middle only takes less than an hour's foot journey. At the south entrance and the north end of the west coast, the steps are relatively steep. It takes about 20 minutes to half an hour to walk on each of them, and it consumes a lot of physical strength. As long as you adjust your breath and stick to the past, you can walk on the Xihai plank road. The rest of the way is flat plank road without steps. You can walk on the flat ground.

The West Coast scenic area is a north-south single line trail, which is a convenient corridor connecting the north and South Mountains in the west of Sanqing. If you have plenty of physical strength, you can add an hour after visiting the West Coast scenic area to visit Sanqing palace scenic area, which is full of Taoist culture. You can trace the historical mystery of the missing emperor Jianwen of Ming Dynasty who was hiding in Sanqing mountain, and return to the south through the East Coast scenic area. If you have no physical strength, you can return from the west coast by the same way, and it takes about 3 hours to return to the West Coast scenic area. The West Coast scenic area is a key scenic area. Usually, the tour time of the west coast is arranged in the afternoon, because the time in the afternoon is sufficient, the sun is slanting to the west, the line of sight is better, it is suitable for overlooking, and you can often see the gorgeous sunset when you return.

The West Coast scenic spot is connected with Nanqing garden in the south, Sanqing palace in the north, and Yujing peak in wansonglin. When visiting, you can consider connecting the west coast with the Sanqing palace. If you also connect the Yujing peak, you will need more energy and time.
