Granite Stone Forest National Geopark is the most complete, typical and abundant geological relic of Indosinian granite stone forest discovered in China. Geological relic is a geological phenomenon formed and preserved by internal and external geological processes in geological period. This granite stone forest scenic spot is located in Tangwanghe District of Yichun City, China's "hometown of red pine". It is the third officially approved National Geopark in Heilongjiang Province after Wudalianchi and Jiayin dinosaur national geoparks. The huge granite basement of Yichun granite Shilin National Geological Park was born in the Indosinian movement period 200 million years ago, and then formed a modern geomorphic pattern through the Yanshan movement and Himalayan movement.
