Jiaoshiling Forest Park

Jiaoshiling Forest Park was established in November 2000 with the approval of the municipal government. The overall planning area is 6117 mu, and the first phase development area is 1800 mu. The construction project started in September 2001. After the completion of the project, the park was rectified again in 2014. After the rectification, many public facilities have been improved in the park, making the park more beautiful.

Development history

Jiaoshiling, 253 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the city. There are lush trees on the mountain. At the foot of the mountain is the beautiful East Lake Park. Next to the mountain is Zengcheng East high tech Industrial Park. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there is a road around the mountain. There are 2168 climbing stone steps to the top of the mountain. If you look at Zengcheng from a height, you can have a panoramic view of the city.

According to incomplete statistics, more than 1000 tourists go to jiaoshiling forest park every day for leisure and fitness.

Main attractions

Camellia Garden

Camellia garden is located at the Western foot of jiaoshiling mountain. The garden is carefully planned and constructed. Every time the flowers bloom, the camellia flowers in the garden are more dazzling in the sunshine. At a glance, they look red.

Diecui Lake

Diecui lake is located in Diecui Lake Recreation Area, a lake in the west of jiaoshiling. The water on the lake is clear and the trees are lush (Diecui Lake Recreation area is open).

Peak viewing platform

The peak viewing platform is located at the top of the reef ridge. Standing here, you can overlook the tall buildings on both sides of Zengjiang River and the sunset. Zengcheng has a panoramic view and is also a fitness place for mountaineers.

Red litchi fruit forest

In summer, litchi in the fruit forest is covered with branches, and the red litchi is dotted with lush mountain forest, which adds a beautiful scenery to jiaoshiling.
