Qingguanting Park

Zhaotong qingguanting park is located in the northwest corner of Zhaotong City. It is the nearest urban garden for Zhaotong citizens. However, the scenery of the four seasons of the year has its own characteristics. The most famous Pavilion in the park is the Qingguan Pavilion, which was built in the middle of the pool. It was originally called sandotang Pavilion. It was built by Wang Yu, the magistrate of the county in the 14th year of Jiaqing Dynasty (1809). The pavilion is a two-story outer corridor waterside pavilion, connected by a stone bridge in front of it, with a construction area of 305 square meters. It is said that Wang Yu was an honest official, so it is called Qingguan Pavilion. Rao Qi, a native of Zhaotong, wrote a couplet and hung it in front of the pavilion, which is now rebuilt in 1932. He said, "there's not much water for those who want to drink, but one official is innocent. If the dust doesn't stain here, who's more likely to step on the soft red.". In 1982, Zhaotong municipal government funded the construction of qingguanting Park, with a new land area of two hectares. It expanded the scope of the park, excavated Quchi, built pavilions and waterside pavilions, and planted peony, peony, Burmese osmanthus, rose and other flowers and trees. Artificial rockery, Xinyue garden, animal corner, Yuanyang Pavilion, children's paradise and bonsai room were built in the park. Although the garden is not big, it has the charm of Suzhou gardens. Pavilions and pavilions are hidden among the green trees. The newly built bonsai garden and ha ha Jing garden are gardens in the garden. A two-story tower and a new pavilion on the water set off each other and complement each other. Two rockeries rise on the Bank of the pool. In March of spring, peach blossoms, red clouds and willows are in full bloom.
