Dongsha scenic spot is a provincial patriotism education base and a classic red tour scenic spot in Zhejiang Province. It is located 3.5 km northeast of Beiao Town, Dongtou County, covering an area of about 1.8 square kilometers, including Mazu palace, Haixia village, Shengli Bridge, Haixia ancient fishing village, shuangbaoyan, Dongtou pioneer women's militia company memorial hall and Haixia military theme park.

The coastal defense forces stationed on the island and the "Haixia" women's militia have been patrolling and guarding here for many years, and the Dongtou vanguard women's militia company, which was personally concerned by Chairman Mao Zedong, has been training and famous in China. Over the past 50 years, more than 30 senior military and political leaders, such as Chi Haotian, Zhang Aiping, Xu Shiyou, and Liao Hansheng, have visited and stopped. In the 1990s, the country's first coastal defense military theme park was built on the ruins of the former battlefield.
