Wuying National Forest Park

Wuying National Forest Park is located in Wuying District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, about 19 kilometers away from the city. It is a centralized reserve of Pinus koraiensis.

Wuying National Forest Park was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of forestry in 1993, covering an area of 141.41 square kilometers. The main scenic spots are Songxiang bridge, Guantao tower, forest train, green fairy house, heixialing, Huxiao mountain, Guansong Avenue, forest bath, Xiangshui River, yuanzhongyuan, Lifeng lake, sightseeing train, etc.

Wuying National Forest Park is located in the north of Heilongjiang Province, on the south slope of Xiaoxing'an Mountains. It is adjacent to Xinqing National Wetland Park in the East, Fenglin Nature Reserve in the South and Yichun Granite Stone Forest National Geopark in Heilongjiang Province in the West. The park covers a total area of 141.41 square kilometers, with the geographical coordinates of 129 ° 06 ′ - 129 ° 30 ′ E and 47 ° 54 ′ - 48 ° 19 ′ n, belonging to the temperate continental humid monsoon climate.

Resources

Wuying National Forest Park covers a total area of 14141 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 82.2%. It has the largest and best preserved Korean pine virgin forest belt in China. There are more than 250 kinds of wild animals and 700 kinds of plants in the park. The main plants are spruce, fir, yellow pineapple, Juglans, Vitis amurensis, Schisandra chinensis, cucumber, ginseng, acanthopanax senticosus, Auricularia auricula, Hericium erinaceus, etc.; the main animals are bear, wild boar, roe deer, tiger, red deer, sable, rabbit, squirrel, weasel, etc.

Scenic spots

Lifeng Lake

Lifeng lake is an artificial lake formed by blocking Lifeng river at the entrance of Wuying National Forest Park. There are pleasure boats on the lake. On the west side of the lake, there are forest villas, hotels, tourist souvenir shops, parking lots, tourist centers and other service facilities, and on the north side is the departure station of the forest sightseeing train.

Sightseeing train

The sightseeing train is a sightseeing project in the core area of the forest park. It starts from Lifeng lake at the entrance of the scenic spot and ends at the entrance of the core area of the park. It is 3.5 km long and consists of three specially made sightseeing trains, namely "red pine", "blueberry" and "White Birch".

Songxiang Bridge

Songxiang bridge is a wooden curved bridge, spanning the valley, 260 meters long. Walking on the Songxiang bridge, you can overlook the multi terminal changes of the valley, and you can also witness and contact the Korean pine.

Guantao tower

Guantao tower is a cultural landscape, 46.8 meters high, steel frame structure, tower ladder is spiral rise, climbing tower overlooking, panoramic view of the vast forest.

Rhododendron Garden

Rhododendron Garden is located in the east of the park, 3000 meters away from the main building of the park, covering an area of 2000 square meters. The azalea is one of the wild flowers in Xiaoxing'an Mountains.

Tianci Lake

Tianci lake is one of the scenic spots in Wuying National Forest Park. On the shore of the lake, flowers are blooming everywhere, colorful, overflowing with fresh, light fragrance, refreshing.

Development and construction

Wuying National Forest Park was founded in 1990;

In 1993, it was approved as a national forest park by the former Ministry of forestry;

In 2001, it was awarded the national civilized forest park by the State Forestry Administration;

In 2002, it was approved as AAAA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.

Recommended tour routes: on the first day, after breakfast, watch the century old Korean pine, visit the "Shaoqi" forest train, cross the Songxiang bridge, visit the 800 year old trees, climb the Guantao tower, have lunch in the scenic area of Elysia, and after lunch, watch the hunting camp, hunting tools and functions of Elysia. Starting from about two o'clock, you can enjoy the villa in the forest, master's house, Mountain God, etc. Take a 1200 meter walk through the woods to Tianci lake for sightseeing, boating and fishing. Return to fairyland for free. After dinner, we can hold bonfire party, singing performance and so on. Living in a wooden villa or a European style villa. Get up in the morning the next day. After breakfast, climb the tower to watch the sunrise. Walk the path between the birdsong forest and watch the birdsong forest. Take the electric car to the forest bathing beach to play. Hold mountain climbing activities. After lunch, go to the Fenglin River to drift.
