National war cemetery (West Yunnan Anti Japanese War Memorial)

The Chinese soldiers who died in the Anti Japanese war are buried here. The people who come here are not only mourning the dead, but also a solemn and stirring history. The cemetery, which was completed in 1945, is composed of a memorial tower and a martyr's grave. On the stele are engraved the names, native places, military ranks and positions of the soldiers killed in the battle. It was they who took the lead in recovering Tengchong that year. The martyr's temple in the cemetery is built in the style of ancient ancestral hall, in which several stone tablets and historical photos are collected, recording the sad history.
