April 8th martyrs' cemetery is located in the Li family, 7 kilometers north of Yan'an City. The "4th and 8th" martyrs' cemetery is the first batch of key martyrs' memorial buildings protection units in China. The cemetery is surrounded by pines and cypresses on its back, facing the Yanhe River, solemn and solemn. Loess has the honor of burying loyal souls. The "4th and 8th" martyrs' cemetery is the earliest high-standard martyrs' cemetery of the Communist Party of China. It has become a famous martyrs' memorial site in China. Every year, people from all over the country come to mourn on Tomb Sweeping Day and martyrs' Memorial day. On April 8, 1996, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the martyrs' death on April 8, 1996, nearly 100 martyrs' children, relatives, descendants of the older generation of revolutionaries in Yan'an period and tens of thousands of people from all walks of life in Yan'an gathered here solemnly to mourn the martyrs. Former President Yang Shangkun laid a wreath and Vice President Xi Wan Guoquan and other leading comrades of the CPPCC National Committee attended the commemorative activities.
