Sandy beach Forest Park is subordinate to Zhouqu Forestry Bureau of Bailongjiang Forestry Administration Bureau of Gansu Province, and is located in Wuping township of Zhouqu County in the south of Gansu Province and the north foot of Minshan Mountain.

Sandy Beach National Forest Park belongs to temperate zone, cold temperate zone, alpine humid climate, complete plant community structure, obvious vertical distribution of vegetation, unique and beautiful forest landscape, frequent rare wild animals. At different altitudes, there are broad-leaved forest, mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest, coniferous forest and Alpine Rhododendron forest in turn.
