Lulan cave

Lulan cave is located at the foot of Zhang Daqian memorial hall, Dongtong Road, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Lulan cave has been a famous scenic spot in Neijiang, known as "Zhongshan scenic spot".

Introduction to scenic spots

There are six ancient tombs in lulandong cliff, and two complete Han Dynasty sarcophagus in one cave. They are carved in imitation wood structure, and the decoration style is quite local.

Celebrity inscription

In the other caves, more than 30 pieces of poems and couplets of famous calligraphers and painters from Tang and Song Dynasties, such as Yan Zhenqing, Mi Fu, Huang Tingjian, Zhang Chuanshan, Luo ciqing, Wen Tianxiang, Liu Chengyou, Hu Weiyuan and Huang Yunhu, are carved on the stone walls of the caves. They are complete with official script and seal script, and have high historical value and artistic value.

The cliff tomb group is a representative Han tomb group in Neijiang and Tuojiang River Basin, and its sarcophagus type is rare in Sichuan and even in China.
