The building is along Xinhua Road in the East, Machang road in the south, Hebei Road in the West and munan road in the north. Yong Jianqiu (1875-1948) was born in Gaoyou, Jiangsu Province. In his early years, he entered the British church school in Hong Kong, and then he was admitted to the University of Singapore. In 1911, he served as the deputy director of Tianjin mint, and later as the arms comprador of Dehang Lihe and Jebsen. He moved to Tianjin in 1918 and served successively as chairman of Jiangsu guild hall, Guangren hall, Tianjin YMCA, Huiwen Middle School and director of Nankai Middle School.
