Yinhe Reservoir Scenic Spot

Yinhe Reservoir Scenic Spot is located 2 kilometers northwest of Gannan County, Qiqihar City, and in the middle reaches of Yinhe River, a tributary on the right bank of Nenjiang River. The reservoir was built in 1958 and has played an important role in resisting large floods for many times. In particular, it has won a historic victory in the fight against the unprecedented flood in 1998.

In order to remember this historical moment, a flood control monument engraved with "rock solid, barrier for all people" has been erected.
