Shilin National Geopark

Shilin scenic spot is a relatively concentrated area of karst landforms in China. It is composed of Shilin, Naigu Shilin (black pine), Zhiyun cave, Changhu, Dadieshui (Feilong waterfall), Guishan National Forest Park, Yuehu and Qifeng tunnel. It is famous for its majestic, strange, dangerous, beautiful, secluded, mysterious and open. The stone forest was formed 270 million years ago. It has a wide range of scenic spots with distinctive scenery, such as Shiya, peak cluster, karst hill, karst cave, karst lake, waterfall and underground river.
