Yimen town is located in the northwest of Woyang County, adjacent to Chengfu town of Qiaocheng District in the west, and S307 provincial road and Wohe River pass through the town.

Basic introduction

It is named as "Taigan town of China" and "medicinal material producing area" by the state. According to the records of Bozhou, "Yimen was Zhenyuan County in the Tang Dynasty". In the 10th year of Tang Tianbao (751), there was only one Yimen left in Anlushan County, so Zhenyuan was changed to "Yimen". When Woyang county was built, Yimen was changed to "Yi". In ancient times, there were many temples and places of interest in the town. The city walls around the town were five feet high and nine gates were set up. Nanyao village, one Li Xu in the west of the town, is the hometown of Han Boyu, the filial son of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Behind the village, there is the site of "Qizhang Temple", which has beautiful scenery and has been widely spread among the people. Built at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the mosque on the west side of Beiguan Street is a place for Islamic activities. The main hall of the mosque consists of five godless halls, a corridor with bright pillars, doors and windows along the flower road, and heavy beams. It is spacious and bright. It has become a millennium old temple and has been restored to a new level. Due to the wide variety of Taigan in Yimen, it is named "the hometown of Chinese Taigan" by the state. The town is an area inhabited by Hui people.
