Wu Sha tomb
Wu Sha was the first generation of reclamation people who came to Taiwan during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. After arriving in Taiwan, Wu Sha carried out reclamation in Renli village, Gongliao Township, and led the reclamation people across the Caoling to the karmalan plain. Wu Sha was known as the "ancestor of Kailan". After Wu Sha died in 1798, his descendants buried Wu Sha in shiding stream, Renli village, Gongliao township. At present, Wusha tomb has been rated as a class III historic site. After the construction by the government, only the tombstone and back soil were built in that year. The tombstone is engraved with the word "Kailan Wusha" to commemorate Wusha's contribution to the cultivation of Ilan.
