SANGRI Red Deer Nature Reserve
SANGRI Red Deer Nature Reserve is located in Zengqi Township, SANGRI County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet. You can drive 80 km eastward from Zedang to reach it. It is mainly distributed in Gongdelin, Banggong, Dajie, mengqiong and other places.
In A.D. 1995, relevant experts visited our region and found Tibetan red deer and white lipped deer. The river valley is open and the forest and shrub cover conditions are good, which provides a good living environment for red deer. The scenic spot has been identified as a national first-class animal reserve. At present, the number of red deer in this area has reached more than 5100, and the range of activity is about 5000 square kilometers. There are also some rare Chinese herbal medicines such as Cordyceps sinensis and Fritillaria in Tibet. Due to the beautiful scenery of the scenic spot, there is an endless stream of tourists. They can not only visit the natural scenery, but also visit wild animals. The content is rich and the scenery is pleasant.
