Xiangxi is a very beautiful stream. It originates in Shennongjia mountain area, flows through limestone cracks, filters and precipitates through caves, and "the water is as clear as Dai"; it flows into the Yangtze River from north to south, where the intersection is clear and turbid. It is said that Zhaojun's Pearl was once lost in the stream, so the stream is blue and blue all the year round, and the water tastes fragrant.

Xiangxi River is the hometown of Zhaojun, a famous imperial concubine of the Han Dynasty. It is said that Zhaojun washed luopa by the river before entering the palace. From then on, the fragrance of Baili stream overflowed, and Xiangxi got its name. There is a kind of four petaled fish in Xiangxi, which looks like peach blossom, looks like plain silk, and has four petals. When the peach blossom is in full bloom, the fish floats in the clear water and plays with the petals falling on the water. It's a flower or a fish, which makes people confused. When the peach blossom is exhausted, the fish disappears. It's the unique peach blossom fish in Xiangxi (scientific name is peach blossom jellyfish). According to legend, the peach blossom fish is formed when Zhaojun leaves his hometown in tears and tears drop into the stream
