Guangdong Xinghu National Wetland Park is located in the urban area of Zhaoqing City, with a total area of 935 hectares and a water surface area of 677 hectares. It mainly covers the central lake, Bohai lake, Qinglian lake, Lihu lake, Xiannu lake and dongdiaohong lake. The main body of the park is Lake wetland, which has the functions of water conservation, climate regulation, flood storage and drought prevention, pollution degradation, biodiversity maintenance and natural ecological improvement.

Guangdong Xinghu National Wetland Park is located in Zhaoqing City, with a total area of 935 hectares and a water surface area of 677 hectares. It mainly covers the central lake, Bohai lake, Qinglian lake, Lihu lake, Xiannv lake and tiaohong lake. It was officially established in 2004 with the approval of Guangdong Provincial Forestry Bureau, becoming the first wetland park in China. In 2013, it was accepted by the State Forestry Administration and upgraded to a national wetland park. There are 360 kinds of wild plants, 200 kinds of cultivated plants, 24 kinds of common aquatic plants, 160 kinds of birds and 45 kinds of fish in the park. More than 40 first-class protected birds are red crowned cranes, and more than 150 water birds are flamingos. The common birds are night heron, egret, heron, egret, pond heron, pheasant, cormorant, pearl necked turtledove, swiftlet with small white waist, Banji woodpecker, red billed Acacia, blue jade, etc.
