Shigang battery

Shigang fort is located in the northeast of Qixingyan in the northern suburb of Duanzhou District. It was built in 1920. It is one of the seven fort built by Lin Hu, the garrison envoy of zhaoluoyang, in Zhaoqing

Introduction to scenic spots

The fort is composed of three parts: a headquarters is built on the top of the post, and there are two Fortifications on the post. The commanding point of the headquarters is a round castle with a diameter of 2.35 meters and a height of 1.9 meters. The top of the castle is mound shaped. There are gun holes and niches in the castle. The south passage is connected with the tunnel. The plane of the tunnel is in the shape of a curved ruler, with a total length of 24.6 meters and a width of 1.5 meters. There are two fortifications in the northwest of the post, each of which is connected by a tunnel; the fortifications in the northeast of the post are T-shaped with the depression bunker as the center; three fortifications are at the end of the tunnel, and the structure of the fortifications is roughly the same as other local fort.
